Not important enough for Wikipedia. 216.221.96.233 03:04, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Why not? In the DOOM community, he is a very well-known and important person. The article needs a major clean-up, of course, but I don't think it should necessarily be deleted. -- Schneelocke (cheeks clone) [[]] 03:07, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- The previous Randy Heit page was deleted, so why keep this one? --[User:216.221.96.233]
- The previous VFD wasn't really much of a vote though. Weak Delete, not really notable enough for my tastes. --fvw* 03:35, 2004 Nov 26 (UTC)
- Keep Mikkalai 05:36, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: Known within the Doom community is not enough for me. That's e-fame. Geogre 05:39, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Weak delete, or merge a couple sentences and redirect to ZDoom. It doesn't seem like he's done much else of note. We don't need to know the shape of his birthday cake certainly. And what's with the stub tag? The last thing articles like this need is expansion. Are we expected to mention his favorite flavor of ice cream? And I agree with Geogre; being known in the doom community is hardly much better than being known in the wikipedia community. Do we all get pages now? -R. fiend 06:33, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Vanity. "...Randy quickly began outperforming even the best computer programmers of his time ... all-time best-selling free game ever". jni 09:59, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Comment: Apparently Randy Heit himself wants this page deleted (see the article's talk page). I haven't bothered confirming whether this is him or not, but if someone wants to, it could be a good idea. -R. fiend 16:28, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. ZDoom is notable, but I don't think its author is. David Johnson 19:05, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Agreed w/ David Johnson. Wile E. Heresiarch 20:06, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Not notable enough for his own article. Delete, or merge/redirect. -Sean Curtin 01:09, Nov 27, 2004 (UTC)
- Notable enough for a redirect. —[[User:Radman1|RaD Man (talk)]] 07:04, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Redirect to ZDoom. Gamaliel 07:36, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete' or redirect. Vanity. -- WOT 18:31, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete Historical significance?Cari0028 02:07, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Notable Doom mods should be listed in the appropriate place, but the authors of these mods do not deserve articles if they have no other legitimate claim to fame. Indrian 03:58, Dec 2, 2004 (UTC)
- Redirect to ZDoom to keep this from getting created again. Fredrik | talk 01:36, 4 Dec 2004 (UTC)
