Details
[edit]But what is it exactly? Mark Richards 01:40, 6 Mar 2004 (UTC)
Number with 3
[edit]The article says only 6 colleges have all 3 designations, but so far I count that Cornell University Oregon State University University of Alaska Fairbanks University of New Hampshire Texas A&M University Auburn University University of Puerto Rico Massachusetts Institute of Technology
all have all 3 designations, could someone factcheck this? Mbisanz 02:39, September 12, 2005 (UTC)
Misssing Participating Institutions?
[edit]Is every school involved supposed to be listed? If so many are missing. There is a pdf on the program site that lists all of them.
- You're correct. The National Directory of Space Grant Contacts (from 2002) lists 810 institutions (see page 160 of the PDF). If all 810 are going to be added, there would need to be a better way to navigate the list, presumably by breaking it up alphabetically. Anyone want to volunteer? [edit]How is the program funded? What sort of programs exist in practice to implement the program's mission? -- Beland (talk) 18:11, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
Funding?
[edit]Do these universities receive federal funding to support space-related research? Or is it only a designation? The article does not explicitly say anything about funding, only that the program is administered by NASA and that it is a program established by Congress and designed to encourage research and training etc. ... Is it just an overseeing sort of thing? Or is it a major source of funding? LordAmeth (talk) 09:15, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
CLEANUP NEEDED BIG-TIME
[edit]Many member institutions missing from lists. Virtually NO citations anywhere. Many institutions appear out of order under incorrect state consortium sub-headings. Most or all supporting source data to cleanup this article may be found here: http://www.nasa.gov/offices/education/programs/national/spacegrant/home/Space_Grant_Consortium_Websites.html --Londonfifo (talk) 05:24, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
BLPVIO?
[edit]Should the e-mail addresses really be included?--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 14:46, 30 June 2018 (UTC)
- No, and neither should that entire section. ElKevbo (talk) 14:48, 30 June 2018 (UTC)
Please breakout list of institutions
[edit]Please breakout list of institutions. It is not browsable. Every time you scroll down the list, one of the items gets randomly opened, and returning to the list brings you back to the top ! 68.110.182.150 (talk) 22:26, 23 December 2021 (UTC)
