Need to determine if this was in fact the first use of tone-clusters. Precedes Adventures in Harmony and Dynamic Motion?
- I think Dynamic Motion is a couple of years later, but from the sources I've been able to check so far, nobody seems too sure about Adventures in Harmony - it's about the same time, and may or may not predate it. I'll try to check some better sources later. --Camembert
No, it was not the first use of tone clusters--nor does the article say it was. Dynamic Motion uses tone clusters and came a year earlier. Leo Ornstein's tone cluster pieces came even before. Not quite clear what point you're trying to make that is not already addressed in the relevant articles. Please elaborate, Camembert---DCGeist
