To anon: Person is notable for being the creator of a widely used protocol (NTP) and having numerous hits on Google. Therefore, person should have article. Thank you. -- Grunt (talk) 23:09, 2004 Jun 27 (UTC)

This listing was made by an anon who vandalized the feature template a short while ago. I warned him, and I think he is doing this (to an article and link to on my user page) as payback. →Raul654 23:15, Jun 27, 2004 (UTC)

Call sign

[edit]

I wouldn't have added this encyclopedically, but I know Dr. Mills personally and can confirm that the anonymously-added callsign is correct. I have no idea if it's worth keeping, though? ♥ GeekGirlSarah ♥ 06:59, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading statement about Dr. Mills academic status.

[edit]

This statement "Currently, Mills is an adjunct professor at the University of Delaware, where he was full-time between 1986 and 2008" while not exactly false, gives the impression that Dr. Mills never achieved a higher academic rank than adjunct. He was in fact a tenured full professor and now is an emeritus (retired) professor. Please read his biography, which can be found at the University of Delaware Web site. A better statement might be "Currently, Dr. Mills is an emeritus professor at the University of Delaware, where he was a full professor from 1986 to 2008. He also currently holds an adjunct appointment at Delaware so that he can continue to teach." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.124.2.163 (talk) 01:04, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
