Announcement?
[edit]When and where did he announce that he was running for president? --Rubber cat 07:02, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
- June 14, 1999, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. "I'm running for the President of the United States and there's no turning back," Mr Bush said. - {{cite news | last = Cook | first = G. | title = Man of Compassion Courts Destiny | pages = 14 | language = english | publisher = Courier Mail | date = [[1999-06-14]] | accessdate = 2007-11-07 }}
"The slogan "Compassionate Conservatism" was endlessly used, abused, debated, and interpreted during the Presidential campaign of 2000."
I would argue that the above use of the word "abused" constitutes opinion and is therefore not encyclopedic. I submit that it should be deleted.

Crowley
[edit]I remember a woman named Crowley who spoke for the Bush campaign during the campaign and the dispute with Florida but why isn't her name listed under Key People. 110.33.138.212 (talk) 04:46, 6 February 2020 (UTC)
- @110.33.138.212: Please provide a reliable source to back up your claim. Memory based off of something that happened 20 YEARS ago isn't reliable. Plus, it's original research. Minecrafter0271 (talk) 15:14, 7 February 2020 (UTC)
My memory is the only thing I have going therefore I am not able to provide a source as I am the one who is asking for info on this.
That was not helpful. 110.33.138.212 (talk) 17:24, 7 February 2020 (UTC)
