User talk:Paektu
Paektu, you do not seem to understand NPOV. I myself don't care much for "America" the ideology, attitudes, polution etc. but I do not put my opiinon foward in articles. -fonzy
Listen to Fonzy - violations of our NPOV and copyright policies will be reverted. --mav 19:18 14 Jul 2003 (UTC)
Peaktu, please stop posting copyrighted material to the wikipedia. This is also not a place for you to try and advertise your POV, as you have been, in a maliciously manner. You are more than welcome to make constructive contributions, but if you continue your current actions, you will be banned permanently. MB 04:23 15 Jul 2003 (UTC)
You're on the verge of being banned due to repeated vandalism. If you want to avoid this, don't touch this site for several days and come back willing to earn the trust of other contributors. If you post ORIGINAL content that meets proper encyclopedic standards, you could become a valued contributor. We could use some contributions from a user with a very diverging perspective anyway. 172
Paektu, You can think whatever you want about my POV, but I don't go around vandalising encyclopedic pages, trying to force my POV on others. You however do, and to make it worse, it isn't even original content, it's copyrighted content. I don't see that you have any good intentions, you haven't made any positive contributions (or at least none that are not copy and paste). This is not a place for you to push your POV, it's a NPOV encyclopedia. Please read Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not You are free to start your own project, which represents the POV of you (and anyone else with your views). Or, there is already a project that has a sympathetic point of view policy, maybe your information will be accepted there? (although they will also revert copyrighted material) MB 17:19 15 Jul 2003 (UTC)
This is a talk page, you can reply to the comments on this page, and your reply won't (shouldn't) be reverted, as long as you don't remove anything that was already on this page, and you type everything you add, yourself. You may optionally sign what you write with 3 or 4 tildes ~~~~, which will automatically be replaced with your signature and time. (4th tilde is the time.)
It should be acceptable to have opinions that others disagree with. However, when writing articles, care should be taken to write from a neutral point of view. Unfortunately, deciding whether something is written in a neutral point of view of course usually isn't completely neutral, so it can be hard to fair. Personally, I think the way you posted in the moron article the last two times was actually closer to a neutral point of view, (except that many don't consider it to be neutral to give examples of morons), so I think you understand. Note that if you say that someone is bad, people argue, if you say the things the person did, which makes the person appear bad, then some people might change their minds. If people criticise your actual views, instead of your edits to the articles, you could ask them why, and some might even apologise (including those that don't have the same opinions).
What should be the main issue, in my opinion, is copying text from other websites without first getting permission from the web sites, instead of writing it yourself. While easier just to copy text, what you write yourself is likely to be easier to understand, anyway. כסיף Cyp 18:19 20 Jul 2003 (UTC)
I suppose you prefer "Mount Paektu" to just "Paektu", it's possible to move your user/user talk pages to "User/User talk:Mount Paektu", so that "Paektu" is the redirect, and "Mount Paektu" is the actual user page, if you want, by the way. כסיף Cyp 10:29 25 Jul 2003 (UTC)
He just vandalised the Ronald Regan page. He replaced Ronald Regan's photo with a picture of Ronald Regan and a monkey. He clearly ought to be banned. dave 16:34 25 Jul 2003 (UTC)
I agree. FearÉIREANN 05:20 27 Jul 2003 (UTC)
