Ive seen many sources that place the start of the Liao dynasty in 916, not 907. This is outside my area of expertise, so was wondering if anyone knows a reason for this discrepancy

Capitalization
Shouldn't "Khitan danasty" be capitalized like Manchu Dynasty and Mongol Dynasty? --Menchi 05:29 27 May 2003 (UTC)
- In fact it should. But some wikipedian prefer Khitan dynasty so they don't need to type the capitalization of D every time. Go ahead if you decide to change that. I am equally comfortable in both forms. User:kt2
