Trivia (again)

[edit]

Does the bit about Kevin McReynolds and Carmelo Martinez being called the "M&M boys" really belong here? And didn't Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle have the same nickname? I figure if McReynolds and Martinez are notable for this, then Maris and Mantle definitely are. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.197.19.242 (talkcontribs) 20:52, 7 June 2007‎

M&Ms we’re not the first candy if this type, please refer to Smarties* A United Kingdom chocolate candy which was the first of its kind to have the sugary exterior shell associated with M&Ms 195.180.32.192 (talk) 21:15, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The lede already says they may have been copied from Smarties. What change are you asking for? RudolfRed (talk) 23:15, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Neither of the two references for that claim mention Smarties. Hack (talk) 08:49, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No citation for peanut butter M&M's in History

[edit]

Under the subheading of 1990s: New flavors ring, there is no citation to support that peanut butter M&Ms were released in 1991 or that they have decreased in size. The citation used for the whole paragraph is just referencing the colour vote which does not support any of the other claims in the paragraph.

Not sure exactly how to go about this as candy on wikipedia is not my specialty, but figured someone ought to know and hopefully make the necessary changes. Coba56 (talk) 23:40, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
