Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Direct injection vs indirect injection
This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion of the article below. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record.
The result of the debate was MERGE. dbenbenn | talk 14:38, 8 Mar 2005 (UTC)
The content is all right, but is not suitable as an article by itself. Instead, it should be merged with Diesel engine, where it can be a sub-chapter. The article can then be deleted, there is no need for a redirect. -- Egil 08:01, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Merge to Fuel injection, under the existing Diesel subheading. Megan1967 08:14, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Comment: Retaining the text by merging while simply deleting the article (and therefore its history) is not an option because of the way we implement the GFDL. No vote as yet. Andrewa 10:53, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- In furtherance of Andrewa's point: Please read WP:GVFD#Incompatible_votes and then WP:GVFD#Nomination. Uncle G 19:41, 2005 Feb 23 (UTC)
- Merge and redirect. Good article, not-so-good title. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 13:12, Feb 23, 2005 (UTC)
- Merge, Inter 15:35, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Merge as per Megan1967 and Starblind. Uncle G 19:41, 2005 Feb 23 (UTC)
- Merge until large enough to justify it's own article. Duk 00:04, 24 Feb 2005 (UTC)
