Although I have little to say about this topic (since on this one topic I don't know much) I see that it is important and have started it and asked that it be included in current events. Fred Bauder

I have added some of the basic economic circumstances and descriptions of this economic crisis. Noted some of the well-known and documented economic history involved including Argentina's high debt overhang, currency peg to the dollar, and Brazilian devaluation.
