Started
[edit]Just to get the page started* the Alumni list has certainly come a long way from only having three people listed!
An Siarach
"Former"
[edit]Many of the articles say someone is a "former" something. I don't think we should do this, as it's really unnecessary, stylistically unpleasant, and makes for more work (eventually everyone is former). -- Finlay McWalter | Talk 16:59, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
Norman de Garis Davies - well known or unknown?
[edit]Please look at Graduate Record University of Glasgow or Egypt Exploration Society or Theban tomb tracing. Perhaps he is worthy for your list???--92.77.14.236 (talk) 08:30, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

SNP Politicians: Alasdair Allan
[edit]The SNP politician Dr Alasdair Allan should be added to the list of SNP politicians. It might also be noted that he was the first person in the university's history to complete his degree by writing in Scots (except where he wrote in Gaelic). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alasdair_Allan -- — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.30.17.26 (talk) 19:48, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
